How this Witch Intends to Celebrate her Birthday~

I consider birthdays, New Years, anniversaries, etc., to all be 'Special Days' that deserve to be celebrated with a bit of magick! My birthday is on the 27th of February and below are some of the witchy [& perhaps not so witchy to you] ways I'll be celebrating.

☆ Taking some time to indulge in a book is always lovely. I'm currently reading 'Afterglow', the last book in the Wildefire series by Karsten Knight. The trilogy centers around a reincarnated Polynesian volcano goddess and her battles with the mysterious Cloak and other reincarnated gods & goddesses. These books are so riveting and I'm going to be sad when I finish reading this!

☆ I read my Tarot cards pretty much every day, but for my birthday I'll be doing a special birthday reading to see what my 24th year will hold for me =) I recently found my mini Hanson-Roberts deck again. It's my favourite deck [the energy is so good] and I'm excited to be using it again!

☆ I bought new tea and my favourite chocolate to enjoy~ And both have caramel & sea salt in 'em, ha ha! The tea is 'Sweet Ocean' and it's one of the new blends from the local tea shop. I haven't tried it yet but it smells delish. Brewing & enjoying a cup of tea is very ritualistic to me and one of my fav ways to unwind.

☆ Spell work is another one of those things that I do every day~ but I'm going to theme my spell work for my birthday around 'letting go' and 'new beginnings'. I'll be doing a ritual to let go of all the things that no longer benefit me, and then I'll put together a spell bag to draw all the good things towards me.

A few more witchy ways I'll be celebrating: ☆ Buying a few moon magick & herbal books for the witchy bookshelf. ☆ Painting my nails a colour that symbolizes what I'd like to achieve this year. ☆ Hopefully getting my new Tarot cards settled in if they arrive on my birthday! ☆ Organizing the witchy bookshelf...again. ☆

How do you like to celebrate your birthday?

Blessings,
Faula.

  5. Merry Meet and Blessed Be. Happy Belated Birthday! Mine is coming on the 20th of March. It is supposed to be a special and magical day with a solar eclipse. I have no clue what to do for my birthday this year, I'm a littleout of practice but I know I want todo something special and magical. Do you have any ideas for me? I'd love to hear them. I've been a witch for 20 years or at least a practicing one. I kind of fell out of practice four years ago and everything has gone down hill. But at Yule an old friend came back into my life and helpedme to see I was lost and needed help and a new path or to get back on the old one. I could use a little help please and the Goddess showed your birthday post this morning so I'm hubblingmyself to ask for your help even though I do not know you, I was pointed to you. you can reach me on google+ or facebook or even email. dreamwalker1429@gmail.com. I believe you were put in my path for a reason. Thank you and any ideas or words of wisdom you have for me will be treasured and honored.
